On 25 March 2026, the Minister of Investment and Downstream Industries/Head of BKPM, the Minister of Law, and the Head of BPS jointly issued a Joint Circular Letter concerning the implementation of the adjustment to the 2025 Indonesian Standard Industrial Classification (KBLI) within the administration of Risk-Based Business Licensing (PBBR).
Paragraph 5, point (d), sub-points (3) and (4) stipulate that the conversion from KBLI 2020 to KBLI 2025 shall be carried out automatically by the system if it is only a numerical code adjustment. Business actors shall generally not be required to amend their deed of incorporation provided that the business activities remain unchanged. The adjustment shall be completed no later than 18 June 2026.
